Information about Treatment, Insurances and Payment:
At Advanced Integrative Health, we are committed to offering the best mental health care. Our psychiatrist, physician's assistants, nurse practitioners, and licensed therapists offer well-rounded, researched-based treatment approaches to target most mental health symptoms. Our goal is for you to feel better about yourself and your life.
We now are offering appoints both in person and via telepsychiatry. For telemedicine appointments, there are a few restrictions and guidelines (i.e. you must be in NC; you will need a stable high speed internet connection, etc) that we will be following. If you have an interest, please let your provider know and they will be happy to answer any questions you might have!
We specialize in working with adults who seek changes with the following issues:
At Advanced Integrative Health, we pride ourselves in having a down-to-earth, relatable staff. We empathize with the fact that seeking out mental health care can be difficult, and we want your experience to not only be a success but feel warm, friendly and safe.
Medication Management - providing a comprehensive medication evaluation with the latest in medication and treatment recommendations. Provided by a licensed psychiatrist, physician assistant, or psychiatric nurse practitioner.
Individualized Therapy - providing a supportive and comfortable environment to help individuals become aware of and change unhealthy thinking patterns and behavior. These therapeutic techniques may include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), insight oriented therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), internal family systems (IFS), emotionally focused therapy for individuals or couples (EFT), Gottman therapy for couples, or supportive psychotherapy. All provided by licensed and trained therapists.
Payment - We accept some insurances. We are considered in network when your "Mental health or Behavioral Health" services are covered by Aetna, BlueCross BlueShield (most plans), Cigna, and United Healthcare (UBH). If you have Medicare or Medicaid in any form, we are unable to be considered in-network with your insurance. Please be aware that sometimes these benefits (found under mental health or behavioral health benefits in your insurance policy information) are not under the same insurance provider as your card lists or your main plan. You must call your insurance directly to verify this ahead of time, as we are not responsible for lack of insurance coverage after you are seen. The insurance you have is an agreement between you and the insurance provider. As the years go by, insurance coverage continues to get more confusing and complex with co-pays, deductibles and co-insurances. Please call if you have any questions regarding rates and your insurance coverage, and we will do our best to answer them.
Co-pay, deductible or co-insurance is due at the time of service.
Credit Card on File - We require all new and existing patients to authorize a credit card on file. In the unlikely event a balance is on an account for longer than 60 days, we will use this credit card to finalize payments.
No-Show and Late Cancellation policy - Providing superior treatment is our goal. We schedule your appointments with that in mind, so it is important you do your best to keep your scheduled appointments. When you miss an appointment, it is not only impacting your care, but we are also unable to provide treatment for another in need. We require 24-hour (working days) notice of a cancellation. If you can't make your scheduled appointment time, we need time to offer that spot to someone else. If we do not have 24-business hour notice, you will be charged a fee. Likewise, when you "no-show" for an appointment, you will also be charged a fee of $100.
